Course overview
Welding Processes is a 12-week evening course that introduces you to the following welding processes,
- Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA)
- Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG)
- Oxy-Acetylene
- Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG)
This is a practical evening class. You will need to bring fire-retardant overalls and safety footwear.
What you will learn
- An understanding of safe working practices and safe usage of welding processes
- MIG, TIG, MMA and Oxy-Acetylene gas welding.
How the course is assessed
- Continually assessed throughout the course.

- 3 hours per week.

- No formal entry requirements are necessary.
