BIIAB Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders

Course overview

A Personal Licence is issued to an individual and authorises them to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol. It is a legal requirement for anyone who wishes to be named as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) on a Premises Licence.

How the course is assessed

• This is a one-day course with an exam at the end.
• To pass the BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders, you must score at least 28 of the 40 questions correctly. The pass mark for the personal licence exam is 70%.

Number of days per week

• One day per week with an 8.30 AM start, along with prior study of the course (BIIAB book will be sent to you 2 weeks in advance).

• Working within the Hospitality Industry.
