English Plus
Our English Plus courses are designed for groups and offer a wonderful way to improve your English while experiencing life at Edinburgh College. Your timetable will include General English or English for Specific Purposes classes, as well as college taster workshops in subject areas of your interest.
What to Expect
Your timetable will include 15-25 hours of classes, including study alongside local students in selected vocational subject areas, as well as English language classes. All English Plus timetables are tailored to the needs and interests of the individual student.
Classes in vocational subject areas
These classes give you the chance to:
- Explore subjects that align with your interests or future career.
- Meet local students and lecturers.
- Attend guest talks or industry visits.
- Try hands-on activities in modern, professional facilities.
- Work on projects that help you practice English in real-world situations.
English classes
English classes can be General English, English for Specific Purposes, group classes or 1:1 tuition, depending on your requirements.
