Course overview

The Health and Wellbeing Level 4 is designed to equip learners with essential knowledge and skills to understand health and wellbeing. Throughout the award, you will develop skills for learning, life, and work that will enhance your employability and personal growth. Additionally, you will develop the knowledge and skills to contribute to improving individuals' and groups' health (physical and mental) and well-being.

This qualification is ideal for young people, adults, and professionals working across a range of settings, including education, healthcare, and voluntary organisations.

Number of days per week

  • The course will be 16 hours per week for 18 weeks.
  • Information regarding dates and times will be made available as soon as possible.

Entry requirements

  • 3 passes at National 4, English and/or a Science subject.
  • Appropriate experience would be beneficial, whether from placements undertaken at school or other industry involvement.
  • You may be a mature student or someone who wishes to change careers or retrain after a career break. In these or other cases, we would consider work experience, life skills and potential ability.
