Course overview

Phase One of the Routes into Education programme provides a supportive introduction to a wide range of vocational areas, helping you explore your interests and make confident, informed decisions about your next steps in education or training.

Across 18 weeks, you’ll take part in practical activities, guided learning, and skills-focused units designed to build your confidence and prepare you for future progression. You’ll develop core capabilities such as enterprise, communication, digital literacy, and meta-skills, while also gaining insight into the expectations and standards of different industries. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a clearer understanding of potential pathways, including progression to Level 4 study.
