Teams 

What is it?  

Microsoft Teams is an online collaboration space in which lecturers and students can share notes, chats, meetings, and assignments. Teams will be used to deliver at least part of your course at Edinburgh College. Our online classes take place on Teams. Whether you are studying remotely – where your classes will be held online via Teams – or whether you use Teams to chat with other students or to get support from your lecturers, you should familiarise yourself with Microsoft Teams as a priority. 

How to access  

On the Web 

In your browser, navigate to https://teams.microsoft.com 

Sign in using your Edinburgh College email (ecXXXXXXX@edinburghcollege.ac.uk)and password.

OR 

Go to https://office.com 

Sign in using your Edinburgh College email (ecXXXXXXX@edinburghcollege.ac.uk)and password.

From the App Launcher, select Teams.
