Waterfront Nursery named one of the best nurseries in the whole of Scotland
Edinburgh College’s Waterfront Nursery has been named one of the top 20 best in the country by Daynurseries, the UK’s leading nursery directory.
With an incredible review score of 9.9 out of 10, the Waterfront is being recognised for its outstanding service and dedication to providing the best possible care for every child that walks through the door. It’s also the only nursery on the list which is independently operated.
The accolade comes on the back of a series of strong testimonials from parents and carers, praising the quality learning environments provided for kids which supports their development, and the particular focus on child-led learning.
It’s not the first time the Waterfront’s been recognised for its approach to teaching, last year the nursery scooped the Eco-Schools 2025 Green Flag Award, for showing excellence in sustainable development education. The Award is given to nurseries and schools that embed environmental action and awareness within their institutional culture and educational curriculum.
