Medals galore for Edinburgh College at first edition of Scottish Chefs Skills Challenge in Glasgow
A group of students from the College’s Professional Cookery & Hospitality courses have put in an almighty performance at the first edition of the Scottish Chefs Skills Challenge in Glasgow, bringing home a whopping 17 medals, including two golds.
The competition, held at the SECC and designed specifically for students and trainee chefs, offers participants a chance to show off their talents and challenge themselves, all while making industry connections and networking alongside their peers.

With a variety of categories available to enter, judges, all of whom are Scottish Chef accredited, were on hand to cast a close eye over the techniques on display, and they were evidently impressed by what our students had to offer!

t was a bumper day for the College, with the final medal haul standing at two golds, six silvers, and nine bronzes, alongside two Certificates of Merit and a Distinction. The following students all managed to scoop prizes:
