Course overview

This course is for ages 18 and over. 

Fit, fun and flirty, embrace your inner diva. This fabulous class will consist of warm-up exercises to improve fitness and flexibility, followed by choreographed dance moves incorporating chairs and props. The emphasis is on building confidence and having fun while learning a choreographed piece to perform at the end of the six sessions. 

We encourage equality and diversity across our courses and encourage anyone who loves to move, wants to create a new social circle and build some confidence while having a fabulous experience every Monday to apply.

What to wear and bring

  • Please wear clothes which you can freely move in.
  • Themed outfits are encouraged 
  • Blocked heels can be worn if comfortable, dance heels or trainers, but no stiletto heels due to special flooring.
  • Bring bottled water and a sports towel.

What you will learn

  • Basic Burlesque movements.
  • Supporting mobility, flexibility and fitness.
  • Have lots of fun in a nonjudgmental environment.

How the course is assessed

  • There are no formal assessments.

Number of days per week

  • This is a 6-week course and will take place on a Monday (12,19, 26 May and 2, 9, 16 June)
  • Class time: 6 PM to 7 PM
