National 5 and Higher English Taster Sessions

Thinking about applying for National 5 or Higher English next year? Whether you've already secured your place and want to get a head start, or you're still deciding if these courses are the right fit for you, join us for a taster session!

Sessions will take place at Sighthill Campus on the following dates and times: 

• Monday 2 June 2025, 6-9pm
• Wednesday 4 June 2025, 6-9pm
• Thursday 5 June 2025, 4.30-7.30pm

These taster sessions are crafted to give you a glimpse into what National 5 or Higher English classes entail. You'll engage in activities such as reading and discussing literature, including short stories and poems; exploring complex language structures and learning how to use them; and honing your creative and academic writing skills.
