College launches new MyEC for students
Edinburgh College has launched a new app to support students with their studies for the new academic year.
Over the summer, the College has been working on creating a new and improved version of MyEC – our new student portal/intranet and app.
Students will be able to access all of the information they need to support their studies via MyEC. This includes information on timetables, attendance, student cards, SAM forms etc. as well as information about the support and services students can access throughout their time at College.
How to access MyEC?
Apple
The MyEC app is now available to download for Apple users from the App Store. Students can search for MyEC 2.0 and log in using their student email address and password.
Android
The app is not quite ready for Android devices, but watch this space as it will be coming very soon.
Desktop/Browser
MyEC is also available on desktop and browser. Students can head to https://myec.edinburghcollege.ac.uk/ and log in with their student email and password. Digital Student Cards have been uploaded here, so Android users can access this while the mobile app is still being developed.
This helpful user guide has been created to help students with downloading the app and accessing their digital student card.
Students should uninstall the previous version of MyEC before they login to the new app.
