Course overview
This ten-week evening course introduces attendees to British Sign Language (BSL) and Deaf Awareness. It is aimed at family, friends, health professionals, and carers of people with hearing impairments. The course includes additional self-study time on our online platform, Moodle, where attendees can access resources and videos to consolidate their learning.

How the course is assessed
- SQA assessment at the end of the course: 'British Sign Language: An Introduction.
Number of days per week
- Tuesdays for 10 weeks with a choice of 2 time slots:
- Group A: 5.30 PM - 7.00 PM
- Group B: 7.30 PM - 9.00 PM
- The course will start on Tuesday 25th February and finish on Tuesday 13th May 2025
