Course overview

The HND Sound Production course is the equivalent of the first two years of our 3-year BA (Hons) Audio Production degree programme. On successful completion of the course, you can continue to the 3rd year and final year of the degree programme.

The course will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to thrive in the ever-evolving audio industry. With state-of-the-art facilities and industry-standard equipment, including a suite of studios including four SSL studios, four pre-sonus studios, specialist spatial audio post-production rooms and a 200-capacity auditorium.

Our curriculum covers everything from studio recording techniques to live sound engineering, audio production for audiovisuals, sound design, and post-production. You'll gain proficiency in using industry-standard software and hardware, honing your skills in our sector-leading facilities, and working with our staff, who have a wealth of knowledge and experience across all areas of audio production.
